Finally, a nice long break from school and homework.
I get to leave earlier because I am going to my cousin's graduation tommorow.
She is graduating from UC Davis and it only took her three years. Congratulations Jennifer!
School this year was pretty fun, but I think that high school really is much more challenging than junior high. One thing that I am disappointed in is that I didn’t work that hard this year. I didnt study much at all for tests. I feel relieved to get a B in Ramirez with a 79.5%. BUt last year in spaish i got a 97.6% cuz of all of the projects i guess.
I also want to say is that I realize that Mrs. Erickson is not as bad as I and I am sure many of my classmates have previously thought. Although I always complain about the workload, its not really that bad. Now that the year is over, i do admit that I learned a lot from her class and I knwo that she si a really good teacher. Plus, i know that the english classes will only get mroe difficult throughout high school. Also, she gave is candy bars, cookies, drinks, doughnuts and other treats occasionally.
Okay, the quality of this post only goes downhill from here, so i advise you to just scroll down without reading the rest.
Last night, I bought an XBOX 360 from overstock.com. But,I signed up for the Overstock.com Rewards Visa Card to get an additional 5% off and $1 shipping. after filling out the billing and shipping form and submitting my order, they said there was a problem with my credit card info. Since i just signed up for this credit card, i didnt not know any info. about it, so i went back to check. I noticed that I was missing a period on my address form [St.]. Since I went back, my page info. was lost and I lost the additional 5% discount from joining the card. I believe the discount was $21.67 (pretty sure). SO i basically lost over twenty bucks because of a period.
I was pretty pissed off, so i sent an e-mail to customer service and got this reply:
Dear Albert,
Thank you for contacting us regarding your 5% Club O discount. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you today.
After further review I have found out that the reason that the Club O discount did not apply was because you had the 12% discount has overlapped the Club O. Our systems will only let one discount apply at a time. I do apologize about the confusion that has been caused regarding this issue.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance on this or any other issue. I hope you will visit us soon for great savings on name-brand products.
