I thought about what you said Kimly, and decided to come to school today, but my parents were really tired for driving for so long and so late, so we spent the night at my aunt's house instead of coming straight back home.
Friday:
Left the house at 4:30 a.m.
Went to the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield and took a tour. We bought over 32 pounds of jelly beans back with us.
About a decade ago, I used to live in Hercules and we would go to the factory and take the tours once in a while, so it was nice to get to go back there and reignite some old memories.
Duck Made Entirely of Jelly Beans.
There were a lot of pictures made of jelly beans too.
Saturday:
Jennifer's graduation ceremony at UC Davis. Graduated in only three years. Majored in Political Science. It was at the gym where they have basketball games, and it was packed full of people.
Downtown Sacramento:
Me and Jennifer at the Library in Capital Square
Sunday:
Old Towne Sacramento (preserved from the 1800s). I went into a sports apparel store and the people there were really nice, probably because of my Sacramento Kings hat, but when they saw my UCLA t-shirt, they were pretty unhappy.
Monday:
Mostly just visited relatives around town. Got some red envelopes :-)
I met UCD football coach Bob Biggs. You may think that the Aggies stink, but they are Division I and they beat Stanford last year.
It was really hot at Sacramento, 96 degrees. After that, we went to Oakland where it was 103 degrees. Then San Francisco where it was freezing at 64 degrees.
On the road:
These past few days, me and my family have probably been in the car and on the road at least 24 hours. The trip took a long time because of traffic and a lot of bathroom breaks, which is inevitable with two Honda odysseys full of people.
ARE YOU?
GAY.COM
and there is a picture of a gay-looking guy standing there.
I had a perfect view of the bilboard, but my cousin was like: "OHMYGOSH! Don't take a picture of that!" and she covered up my camera with my hand, but I managed to get a picture anyways, although it is not as good as it should have been. Anyway, the reason that this is funny is because it was in San Francisco.
Yeah, it's a dog driving a car.
My grandfather took this picture because he thought that it was really funny, but then the owner of the car came back, and thought that we were crazy or something.
Oh yeah, and I also learned (the hard way) that it is illegal to put money in other people's parking meters.
534 pictures total and almost 90 minutes of video
