Freaking Customer Service

In a previous post, I talked about my experience with the Overstock.com customer service. After losing numerous arguments, I realized that there was nothing more that I could do and that 5% ($21.67) is that not big of a deal (actually I think it is, but again, there is nothing I can do about it) since I am already saving 18% (sixty-something dollars). After a few days of waiting and still no Xbox 360, I go to the site to track my order. Turns out it has been cancelled! I have no idea how, since I did not cancel it and their policy also states that : "Orders cannot be cancelled once the checkout process has been completed." So at this point I am getting pretty frustrated and am thinking WDF!?!?. So once again I have a nice conversation with the nice people working customer service over at India. I won't bore you with the details like last time because, well actually I accidentally closed the window before saving it. But anyways, he (in case you are wondering, his name is Alec) basically says he is sorry, and there isn't anything he can do about it. He tells me that I should have called them, and I told him that I did, but I couldn't talk to an actualy person. Then he tells me to just buy it again and I told him that I would not get the 12% discount for being a new customer. So he tells me that he will give me a 12% coupon and since Rubin gave me a worthless coupon that expired in 5 minutes I told him that the Xbox 360 were out of stock, which was true. So he gave me a coupon that expires in 10 years. This guy was nicer than Rubin and I could tell that he was younger and more laid back because he sucked at typing and he used acronyms and stuff. eg: ;p;. *lol. So I guess these customer service people will give you what you want if you are polite and just ask the right questions. Problem is, I still don't have my Xbox 360.

Also on this subject, I noticed that either no one was viewing my Blogger profile, or it was stuck. After looking at my own profile on my laptop, and noticing that my counter was the same, I knew that it was somehow broken. Other people are also having the same problem. So again, I e-mailed customer service, and it turns out that they don't care about you unless they are getting your money. So I got my own counter you can see it if you go to homepage and scroll down, but I couldn't put this counter in my profile because it doesn't allow javascript. Counter at bottom of page is as of 12:00 A.M. this morning. So yeah, counter's broken. People are greedy. Get used to it. Except for you of course. If you are reading my blog, you're cool.
