Game 2

Not sure of final score, but we lost by 3 points.
I played the whole game. All 40 minutes. I had to play carefully towards the end though, because I picked up my 4th foul in the mid-3rd quarter.
A big mistake that I made is that yesterday, I got brand new shoes from the Nike store, but I didn't wear them in or anything, but I wore them during the game, and my feet were killing me because of the shoes.
I stayed in mostly to play good defense and get rebounds, because the opposing center is pretty big, and i guess is an okay player.
I scored only 4 points, but I got 5 blocks and plenty of rebounds.

We fell behind by 13 points i think, and we were playing catch- up for most of the game. But we came back early in the fourth quarter and we were ahead by 1 point at some time.
4th quarter. 5 seconds left in the game. Down by three. Opponent on the line shooting one and one. There are no opponents on the key, but I box out anyway (my teammates, I guess). The ball hits the back iron and ball goes behind backboard. I grab ball, put it in the ref's hands and take it back quickly. In-bound the pass. We swing it around the 3 point line (because we need a three pointer to tie) and one of my teammates gets a perfect open shot. Instead of shooting it, he passes it to me. Time runs out before I can put up a shot. I look at him suprised because he definetely should have shot that. In frustration, I kick the ball high in the gym. The officials are all over me and I get a technical. So I got ejected even though the game was already over. We head back to the bench and Coach gives everyone pats on the back and stuff and he tells Micheal (the one who shoulda but didn't shoot it) "that was your shot". Micheal sheepishly replies, "but it was too far". What kind of freaking excuse is that? Micheal is a pretty good player, and he knows what he is doing, but it is too far??? I wouldn't be so pissed off if he shot it and missed badly, but he threw away this opportunity. I am usually a team leader and place the blame when we lose on myself, but Micheal, You freaking blew it man. Disappointing.

And Coach started yelling at me because I was getting bad position rebounding, but I was freaking tired and out of breath. But he must have confidence in me if he played me the whole game.

I am pretty angry right now, but I am too tired to do anything about it.

Yeah, I am glad I have this blog to talk about events and feelings and other random stuff. I am tired. Good Night.

And I think I might have jammed my thumb or something, because it is pretty red and swollen.
